Taarifa Rasmi kwa Umma kuhusu Programu ya
Pre-Entry ya Kutoka IMTU
Itakumbukwa kuwa Tume ya Vyuo Vikuu katika kikao chake cha 52 cha tarehe 18 Machi 2011 iliamua kuwa kuanzia mwaka wa masomo 2011 / 2012 hakutakuwa tena na Programu za Pre-Entry na vyuo vyote viliagizwa kusitisha ufundishaji wa programu hizo.
 Vyuo vikuu vyote vilijulishwa kuhusu maamuzi hayo kwenye kikao maalum cha saba cha kamati ya pamoja ya udahili (Joint Admission Committee) tarehe 9 Februari 2012. Kwa maamuzi hayo vyuo vyote viliagizwa kuandaa na kuwasilisha programu za aina hiyo kwa kutumia mfumo mpya wa Tuzo za Vyuo Vikuu (University Qualifications Framework – Level 6).

Hata hivyo hivi karibuni ilibainika kuwa Chuo Kikuu cha Kimataifa cha Tiba na Teknolojia (IMTU) kilikuwa kikiendelea kufundisha programu hiyo na wanafunzi 111 walihitimu katika programu hiyo. 

Kwa kuwa programu hiyo ilikuwa haitambuliwi na Tume, wahitimu hao walikata rufaa kwa Mheshimiwa Waziri wa Elimu na Mafunzo ya Ufundi kwa mujibu wa sheria ya vyuo vikuu Sura ya 346 ya sheria za Tanzania. Baada ya kupitia rufaa yao, Mheshimiwa Waziri kwa mamlaka aliyonayo kwa mujibu wa kifungu cha 5(2)(b) aliagiza kwamba wahitimu hao 111 wa programu ya Pre-entry ya IMTU waruhusiwe kusoma programu ya MBBS ya IMTU kwa 2
kuwa ndivyo ilivyokusudiwa wakati wa kuanzisha programu hiyo.


Kutokana na maagizo ya Wizara ya Elimu na Mafunzo ya Ufundi, tunapenda kuujulisha umma ya kwamba, kwa kuwa IMTU imesitishwa kudahili wanafunzi wapya kwa mwaka wa masomo 2014 / 2015 wahitimu hawa wanaweza kudahiliwa chuo kingine chochote kilicho tayari kuwapokea kufuatana na taratibu za udahili zilizopo.
Aidha, Tume inasisitiza kuwa programu za Pre-entry zilishasitishwa na kuwa programu zote za masomo lazima zifanyiwe tathmini na kupata ithibati ya Tume kabla hazijaanzishwa na kudahili wanafunzi. Kwa taarifa hii tunawataka vyuo kuwasilisha programu zao ili kupatiwa ithibati kabla ya kuanza kudahili wanafunzi ili kuepusha usumbufu wa namna hii.

                                                                                                                                                           SADC ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS, 2015
The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat has organized the SADC students essay writing competition for year 2015. The Essay writing competition is intended to broaden knowledge of the secondary school going population on SADC activities. The competition is open to form 1 to form 6 students. The students are required to begin researching on the topic prior writing and submitting to their Heads of School.

The 34th summit of Heads of State and Governments deliberated that, the topic for year 2015 be “Leveraging the Region`s Diverse Resources for sustainable Economic and Social Development through Beneficiation and Value Addition” Discuss how this would result in Sustainable Economic Development.

The set of questions below are meant to guide students when responding to the question above. Thus, on answering the above question , student should answer all the questions listed below:

  1. Discuss the abundant natural resources versus economic development in the SADC Region as a whole expounding the issues of ownership, monetary values and benefits accrued from them on annual basis over the past five years?
  2. Has the SADC Region ultimately benefited from its abundance of natural resources since the complete democratization with the fall of the Apartheid regime in South Africa in 1994?
  3. Discuss Beneficiation and Value Addition with concrete proposals for SADC Region on ownership and processing of mineral/natural resources and how they benefited SADC Citizens if at all and what can be improved to maximize benefits to the SADC citizenry?
  4. How should the SADC Region go about implementing the 34th Summit Theme in order for it to benefit the whole region including some of its Member States that might not have as much natural resources as the others? 
  5. What role should be played in the operationalisation of the 34th Summit Theme by the non-state actors in the SADC Region, thus, private sector, Nongovernmental Organizations, traditional authorities and local communities?
  6. As a secondary school learner, what do you think should be the education sector`s role in the operationalisation of the 34th Summit Theme to benefit the education sector in the whole region?
Heads of  schools are supposed to ensure that the students adhere to the following guidelines:
  • The essay should not be longer than 2000 words and not shorter than 1000 words.
  • Where students have access to computers, they are advised to type their essays and submit both the soft and hard copies.
  • Students who will type their essays will have to sign and initial the hard copies to make sure that they have not been altered.
  • The essay shall be written in English language.
  • The front page or cover page will display the name, sex, class, school address and stamp, Headmistress/Headmaster’s email address, signature and phone no, region, country.
  • The title of the essay should be written in the cover page (students should not paraphrase the title)
  • The handwritten essays will be written on one side of the A4 paper with double margin of two centimeters.

Students are expected to begin writing immediately and submit their essays to their head of school. The Head of School will then be expected to constitute a marking panel which will choose best essays of the school. The panel should go through the essays (Please do not mark the essays) and choose three essays to be submitted to The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education and Vocational Training not later than 15th April 2015. The national adjudication will take place from 02nd to 11th May 2015 in order to get three entries which will be submitted to the SADC Secretariat in Botswana.

Jinsi ya Kukata Rufaa Bodi ya Mkopo Tanzania/ How to Appeal to Higher Education Loan Board(HESLB)

 


                              APPEALS AGAINST AWARDED LOAN AMOUNTS
Applicants who are not satisfied with the Awarded Loan Amounts may appeal to the Board as stipulated in the HESLB Regulations of 2008 and as clarified below:-

All appellants must complete the relevant Online Appeal Forms, make a printout of the same and attach thereto the necessary supporting documents. The Online Loan Application System is accessible at
http://olas.heslb.go.tz.
 
Appeal Fee (Tzs. 5,000 per appeal)
All appeals will attract a non-refundable fee of Tzs, 5,000 per appeal which should be paid using M-Pesa and the Transaction ID generated should be input into the Online System prior to printing the completed appeal form, otherwise the appeal will not be considered.

Routing of Appeals through Loan Officers at the institutions of study
Appeals must be routed through the Loan Officers at the respective Higher Education Institution who will collect all appeals from his/her respective institution and submit them under a covering letter to the Board. The Board will not accept any appeal that will be submitted directly by students to the Board.
Appeals must be submitted to the Board within 90 days, counting from the date of opening of the respective Higher Education Institution.

  •  Kuepuka kusafiri na kiwango kikubwa cha fedha na vitu vyenye thamani
  • Kujenga tabia ya kuweka alama kwenye vitu
  • Kutoacha vitu vya thamani katika sehemu za wazi. Hata kama ni ndani ya nyumba vitu vya thamani vifungiwe ndani ya kabati au stoo.

Dhamana inatolewa bure, hakuna malipo yoyote yanayotakiwa kutolewa ili mtuhumiwa au mshtakiwa akubaliwe dhamana. Jambo la msingi ni mtuhumiwa kuomba apewe dhamana na kutimiza taratibu kwa muijibu wa sheria.
Vigezo vya kuzingatia kabla ya mtuhumiwa kabla ya kupewa dhamana ya Polisi
  • Polisi kujiridhisha kwamba mtuhumiwa atatimiza masharti ya dhamana atakayopewa, ikiwa kufika siku na saa atakayoamriwa.
  • Kujua makazi,ndugu na jamaa, ajira na ikibidi hali ya maisha ya mtuhumiwa na familia yake, kumbukumbu za kihalifu kama zipo.
  • Umuhimu wa mtuhumiwa kuwa nje kwa dhamana, ili aweze kujiandaa kukabiliana na tuhuma zinazomkabili kabla ya hajafikishwa mahakamani mfano kupata msaada wa kisheria
KUKATALIWA DHAMANA YA POLISI
Kifungo cha 67 cha sheria ya mwenendo wa makosa ya jinai kinaeleza kwamba, mtuhumiwa aliye chini ya ulinzi wa Polisi anaweza kukataliwa maombi yake ya kutaka apewe dhamana
KUFUTWA KWA DHAMANA YA POLISI
Baada ya mtuhumiwa kupewa dhamana ya Polisi na kuwa huru dhamana hiyo inaweza kufutwa na mkuu wa kituo , chini ya kifungu cha 68 cha sheria ya mwenendo wa makosa ya jinai. Baadhi ya sababu zinazoweza kusababisha uamuzi wakufuta dhamana ni:-
(a) Kubainika kwamba mtuhumiwa anapanga mipango ya kutoroka
(b) Kwa makusudi anakiuka au yu karibu kukiuka masharti ya dhamana
ADHABU KWA KUKIUKA MASHARTI YA DHAMANA
Dhamana inayotolewa na Polisi kwa mtuhumiwa anayekabiliwa na kosa la jinai inapaswa kuheshimiwa. Kifungu cha 69 cha sheria ya mwenendo wa makosa ya jinai kinatoa adhabu kali kwa mtuhumiwa na mdhamini au wadhamini wanapokiuka masharti ya dhamana waliopewa.

Maelekezo Muhimu.
  1. Wahitimu wa kidato cha sita mwaka 2014, kidato cha nne mwaka 2013 na JKT Mafinga, Mlale, Ruvu, Mgambo, Bulombola, Kanembwa, Itende, Nachingwea, Mbweni, Maramba, Chita, Makutupola, Mtabila, Msange, Mgulani, Oljoro, Rwankoma na Kimbiji wamechaguliwa kujiunga na mafunzo ya awali ya Jeshi la Polisi.
  2. Wahitimu hawa waliochaguliwa wanatakiwa kuripoti tarehe 28/11/2014 kwa Makamanda wa Polisi wa Mikoa kama ilivyooneshwa kwenye jedwali hapa chini ili waandaliwe usafiri wa kuwapeleka Shule ya Polisi Tanzania tarehe 30/11/2014.
  3. Zoezi la usajili litaanza shuleni hapo tarehe 01/12/2014 hadi tarehe 15/12/2014. Atakaefika kuanzia tarehe 16/12/2014 hatapokelewa.
  4. Atakaeamua kuripoti kwa Kamanda wa Polisi ambako hakupangiwa atalazimika kujigharimia usafiri hadi Shule ya Polisi Tanzania mjini Moshi.
  5. Vijana hawa watalazimika kufika shuleni wakiwa na mahitaji yafuatayo:
    1. Vyeti vyao vyote vya masomo( original Academic Certificates/Result slip pamoja na Leaving certificates) kidato cha Nne/Sita, Vyeti vya kuzaliwa (Original Birth certificates). Hati ya kiapo cha kuzaliwa haitakubalika.
    2. Mashuka mawili rangi ya Bluu Bahari (light blue)
    3. Chandarua chenye upana futi tatu
    4. Nguo za michezo(Track suit nyeusi,Tshirt blue na Raba)
    5. Pasi ya Mkaa
    6. Ndoo moja
    7. Pesa za kulipia bima ya afya kiasi cha shilingi elfu hamsini na mia nne tu (50,400/=).
    8. Pesa kidogo ya kujikimu.
  6. Kwa mujibu wa kanuni za shule ya Polisi ni marufuku kufika shuleni na simu ya mkononi. Atakayepatikana na simu atafukuzwa shuleni hapo. Shule itaelekeza na kusaidia kufanya mawasiliano.
