NOTICE TO LOAN APPLICANTS TO COMPLETE THEIR APPLICATIONS
Following
closure of the loan application cycle for 2015/2016 Academic Year, the
Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) has embarked on
verification and analysis of the applications. In the process, a total
of 7,788 loan applications have been found to be missing some vital
information. The missing information includes:
• Applicant’s Signatures,
• Applicants’ Photos,
• Birth Certificates,
• Guarantor’s Photos,
• Guarantor’s Signatures,
• Unsigned applications by Local Authorities,
• Unsigned applications by the Magistrates,
HESLB hereby calls upon loan applicants for academic year 2015/2016 whose applications have been found to have some faults to physically come to HESLB offices on Plot No. 8, Block No. 46 Sam Nujoma Road, Mwenge - Dar es Salaam for corrections of their loan applications.
Names of concerned applicants can be accessed here.
The deadline for corrections of the shortcomings is 11th September 2015.
NB: The Board is cautioning loan applicants to be careful with some unscrupulous individuals who might take advantage of this opportunity to make financial demands.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
COLLEGES/INSTITUTIONS PLACED ON HOLD IN THE CENTRAL ADMISSION SYSTEM
This is to inform the general public
that institutions listed below have been placed on HOLD to admit
students in Nursing programmes pending feedback from the Tanzania
Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC). All these institutions were given
letters of registration clearly stating that they should liaise with
TNMC and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MoHSW) so as to
fulfill professional and sectoral requirements before admitting
students. The Council will release and allow them to enroll students in
year 2015/2016 as soon as it receives needed feedback from these two
stakeholders. This action is meant to protect and safeguard the
interests of PUBLIC and in particular prospective students.The affected colleges are the following:
(i) Makambako Institute of Health Sciences – Njombe;
(ii) Isimila Nursing School – Iringa;
(iii) St. Bernard Health Training Institute – Katoro, Geita;
(iv) New Mafinga Health and Allied Institute – Mafinga, Iringa;
(v) Geita Medical Laboratory and Nursing Training College – Geita;
(vi) Global Community College – Geita;
(vii) Ilula Nursing School, Kilolo – Iringa; and
(viii) Teofilo Kisanji University – Mbeya.

Tunapenda kuujulisha umma kwamba
vyuo/taasisi zilizoorodheshwa hapo chini ZIMESIMAMISHWA kudahili
wanafunzi katika fani ya Uuguzi hadi hapo Baraza litakapopokea mrejesho
kutoka Baraza la Uuguzi na Ukunga Tanzania (TNMC). Vyuo/taasisi zote
hizi zilipewa barua za usajili wa NACTE zenye maelekezo bayana ya kwamba
zanatakiwa kuwasiliana na TNMC pamoja na Wizara ya Afya na Ustawi wa
Jamii ili kuweza kukamilisha mahitaji ya kitaaluma na kisekta kabla ya
kuanza kudahili wanafunzi. Baraza litaruhusu vyuo/taasisi hizo kudahili
wanafunzi kwa mwaka 2015/2016 mara litakapopokea mrejesho unaotakiwa
kutoka TNMC na Wizara. Uamuzi huu umechukuliwa ili kulinda maslahi ya
umma na zaidi sana wanafunzi watarajiwa.Vyuo/taasisi husika ni hizi zifuatazo:

The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) would like to
inform all graduates for Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) or Equivalent
that the deadline for application into Bachelor Degree programmes
through the Central Admission System (CAS) has been extended to 31st August 2015.NOTE that the system will automatically close after the mentioned deadline. Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowship Plan (CSFP).

SCHOLARSHIPS FROM THE SULTANATE OF OMAN FOR CULTURAL AND SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016

Application are invited from qualified Tanzanians to pursue undergraduate degree programs in the Sultanate of Oman.
1. FIELD OF STUDY
The applicant may apply any field of study depending on the institutions selected and qualification of the applicant.
2. QUALIFICATION & CONDITION
(i) The applicant must have completed Advance Secondary Education minimum qualification merit grade or Diploma with the upper second class;
NB: Applicants with Credit A level Diploma with Lower Second class are discouraged to apply.
(ii) The age limit should not exceed 25 years on 1st October, 2015;
(iii) Not Admitted in Higher Learning Institutions;
(iv) General Secondary Certificate/Diploma of General Education obtained a broad should be equivalent to the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate;
(v) ONLY Selected candidates will be contacted to fill application forms for final staged.
3. NAMES OF INSTITUTION AND ITS SPECIALIZATION
The applicant will be required to select Institutions where he/she will study undergraduate program. The applicant will be selected depending on the cut-offpoint of institution as indicated by percentages (%). The following are Institutions and website to be used.
1. Institute of Sharia Science (65%),
2. Higher College of Technology (80%),
3. College of Applied Sciences(80%)
4. College of Banking of Financial Studies (80%)
5. College of Sultan Qaboos University, The Candidate has to fulfil the Minimum Limit of the specialization subjects for each programme.
6. Private Higher Education Institutions (80%).
4. SCHOLARSHIP ARRANGEMENTS
The Scholarship will cover air ticket, tuition fees, accommodation, meal and stipend.
