H.E Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Truong Tan Sang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The message reads as follows:-

Your Excellency and Dear Brother,

On the auspicious occasion of the 69^th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government and the People of the United Republic of Tanzania join me in extending to you and through you to the Government and People of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam our heartfelt and sincere congratulations.

Tanzania and Vietnam have since the establishment of diplomatic relations demonstrated close friendship and solidarity in different spheres and supported each other at different international for a. Tanzania is determined to keep and further strengthen this relationship in the years ahead.
