OPENING OF CAS FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS 2015/2016

NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (NACTE) PUBLIC NOTICE OPENING OF THE CENTRAL ADMISSION SYSTEM (CAS) FOR NEW APPLICANTS INTO ORDINARY AND HIGHER DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION PROGRAMMES The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in collaboration with the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) would like to inform the public that Central Admission System (CAS) is now open for new applicants into Teacher Training Institutions for academic year 2015/2016. Minimum Entry Requirements: Ordinary Diploma (Pre Service): Division I – III OR GPA of 1.6 in O’Level Ordinary Diploma (In Service): Grade IIIA Certificate Higher Diploma: Two (2) principle passes in A’Level or Ordinary Diploma (NTA 6). For science programs: 2 passes in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in O’Level for Ordinary Diploma OR 2 principle passes in science and/or mathematics (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics) in A’Level for Higher Diploma NOTE: All applications should be done online through www.nacte.go.tz or www.cas.ac.tz and the deadline for applications will be on 18th July, 2015.
