OPENING OF CAS FOR HEALTH PROGRAMS 2015/2016

PUBLIC NOTICE OPENING OF THE CENTRAL ADMISSION SYSTEM (CAS) FOR NEW APPLICANTS INTO DIPLOMA AND CERTIFICATE IN HEALTH PROGRAMMES The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare would like to inform the public that Central Admission System (CAS) is now open for new applicants into Health Training Institutions for academic year 2015/2016. Minimum Entry Requirements: Ordinary Diploma: Physics/Engineering Science – D, Chemistry – C, Biology – C in O’level. Technician Certificate: Physics/Engineering Science – D, Chemistry – D, Biology – D in O’level. Upgrading/Higher/Advanced Diploma: Biology – D in O’level, work experience of two (2) years and above, passport size picture, Technician Certificate or Ordinary Diploma Certificate and Transcript in the field aspired and a letter of permission from employer. Nursing applicants should attach a copy of their license to practice.
