Admissions for Academic Year 2014/2015 at TUMA

 Entry Requirements for Certificate Programmes:

• Certificate in Law

           The candidates for this course must have a minimum of four passes in any subject (not including     
            religion)

• Certificate in Computer and Information Management

           The candidates for this course must have a minimum of four passes in any subject (not including   
             religion)

Entry Requirements for Diploma Programmes:

• Diploma in Law

         Applicants must have a certificate in law of at least second class level from an accredited University or 
          Institution, OR must possess the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

• Diploma in Computer and Information Management

         Applicants must have a certificate in Computer and Information Management or equivalent of at least 
         second class level from an accredited University or Institution, OR possess Advanced Certificate of
          Secondary Education with one principal pass and at least a subsidiary pass.

Entry Requirments for Bachelor Programmes:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Management

          Two principal passes at A-Level with at least a pass in Mathematics at O-level or a principal pass in
           Mathematics, OR a Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science from any recognized
            Institution.

• Bachelor of Business Administration

           Any two principal passes at A-Level in relevant subjects, preferably with a pass in Mathematics at
            O-level, OR a Diploma from a recognized Institution.

• Bachelor of Arts in Languages for Academic and Professional Skills (English, Kiswahili, French)
• Bachelor of Education
• Bachelor of Arts with Education
• Bachelor of Arts in Music
• Bachelor of Laws
• Bachelor of Divinity
• Bachelor of Counseling

Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (C.S.E.E) or equivalent, with credits in at least three approved subjects, prior to the sitting of the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent.
EITHER
Two principal level passes in relevant subjects with toal points of not below TCU requirements (see www.tcu.go.tz)
OR
A good Diploma in relevant subjects to be approved by Tumaini University Makumira Senate.  Applicants with Diploma must attach certified copies of their respective transcripts.
